When you see the TNIADA logo in the window of a used car dealer, you can expect the following:

  1. We will encourage the American system of free enterprise.
  2. We will stand by any guarantees given with the sale of a car.
  3. We will employ truth and accuracy in advertising and selling.
  4. We will guarantee the title of every car sold by the dealership.
  5. We will comply with all city, county, state, and federal laws and shall endeavor.
  6. We will not sell former taxicabs, police cars, salvage, or flood vehicles without notifying the purchaser in advance.
  7. We will furnish every purchaser with proper documents to transfer ownership from the dealer to the purchaser and keep ourselves informed of the laws governing our business.
  8. We will have a general duty of integrity, honor, and fair dealing toward the general public.
  9. We will not intentionally injure the business reputation of another member or competitor and will not perform any acts that bring disrepute to the motor vehicle industry.
  10. We will expose or halt, wherever found, any scheme designed to deceive or defraud the used car buying public and will aid in prosecuting those guilty of such acts.
  11. We will strive constantly to improve our business methods to the end that the public will be better served.
